Honey Mustard Chicken Drumsticks

Honey Mustard Chicken Drumsticks
Serves 4

Ingredients
8 chicken drumsticks.
1/4 cup of honey.
2 tablespoons whole grain mustard.
1 teaspoon zested orange peel.
2 tablespoons orange juice.

Method
Preheat oven to 220C.
Use a shallow dish and a cup of boiling water to heat the honey in the measuring cup.
Combine the mustard and orange juice in a jug, add the warmed honey and whisk well to combine.
Baste the chicken drumsticks with the mix, place on a rack suspended over a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes.
Baste the drumsticks, reduce heat to 200C and bake a further 10 minutes.
Baste the drumsticks, bake for a further 10 minutes. DO NOT baste chicken again after this step or you risk food poisoning.
Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Serving
Excellent with our baked potato wedges.
Increase cooking time for both to 1 hour and use the heat as specified in the wedges recipe.
