Strawberry and Banana Split

Strawberry and Banana Split
Serves 4

Ingredients
250 gram punnet of strawberries, stems cored.
1 tablespoon icing sugar.
4 large ripe bananas.
8 scoops good creamy vanilla icecream.
1 tablespoon finrly crushed peanuts.
Wafer biscuits to serve.

Method
Take 4 of the ripest strawberries and slice thinly.
Blend remaining strawberries and icing sugar with 1 tablespoon of water.
Peel bananas and split in half.
Place bananas in serving dishes and top each with 2 scoops of the icecream.
Drizzle over the strawberry puree, top with sliced strawberries.
Sprinkle with crushed nuts, stick some wafer bisuits into each scoop of icecream.
